Prayers

As we get ready to move our family to Indiana our hearts are being drawn out here in Illinois. A few weeks back a dear friend of ours, whom we call Papa J, was hospitalized for what they thought was pneumonia. When treatments were failing they sent him to St. Louis where it was discovered that his pneumonia was actually stage 3 lung cancer. He has never smoked and has no family history of cancer. If this were all maybe treatment options could take care of it easily, but the problem is that Papa J has some heart problems too. So he is not doing very well. Tomorrow (Tuesday) and into Wednesday our ward congregation is going to be fasting and praying for him. This is a plea to all of you to please at least keep him in your prayers and if you can fast please do.
Papa J is an amazing father to his 9 children, the youngest of which is 11. He is still desperately needed. I know that all is in the Lords hands and he will do what is best, but often he grants little miracles when his children come to him in fasting and prayer.
Thank you all in advance. Hopefully our combine faith will move this mountain :)
