time flies

Ah... Look at those sweet babies. Can you believe there was a time that they both fit in this little bassinet with room to spare.

For some reason they still think they can fit in this bassinet, even though we've told them they are way to big.
But they keep trying,
and trying,
and trying. Well at least they're happy about it.

Trip to Minnesota

We made a trip to Minnesota for our Niece's blessing earlier this month. It was a lot of fun to be with family for New years as well. The pictures above and below are of our niece Sylvie. She's exactly two weeks younger then Eden. I hope they end up being the best of friends.
I love this picture of Silvie. It was fun trying to get her to smile.

Wow I yawned just seeing Eden yawning. I guess they are REALLY contagious. I think this is my favorite picture of the whole weekend. Grandma and Grandpa look great in this picture.
This is a game grandpa played with the twins to keep them around for pictures. Usually they move so much that a group shot is almost impossible. So the game was Grandpa would start to move his arms together slow making a machine noise and then all of a sudden he'd cinch them tight around the boys. Usually it would cause them to lightly bonk heads which for some reason they thought was funny.
As you can see they thought it was hilarious.
New years day the boys chose to play computer...almost all day. The adults were still tired from the wild party the night before, well as wild as parents of newborns get. I think most of us were dragging just to stay up until midnight. Which was totally wild. :)
Here's uncle Chris hangin' out with two cute girls.
We had a great time. Thanks for the fun memories Chris and Lisa.

Because she's beautiful

I posted this just because I love how intent Eden is on her Daddy's face. She is so beautiful, sweet, and innocent. I hope she never lets the world harden her and she stay's just as sweet, loving, and forgiving as she is right now. I think we could all take a lesson from these sweet spirits.

Trey's choice

Another mile stone reached last month was Trey's baptism. I'm so proud of him for his choice and I know if he adheres to the Gospel he will have a wonderful life. Not saying it will be easy, but it will be full of the Joy that we receive from following the Savior. I love you Trey.

Donovan's Graduation

Last month the Love of my life received his Doctorate. To some this may not seem like to big of a deal, but for us it has been the goal our whole married lives. We have sacrificed so much to get to this moment. The last year has probably been one of the hardest we have ever gone through, but we made it. As I watched my Husband receive his honors I thought "Wow! this is anticlimactic. There should be trumpets and loud applause from everyone. We accomplished this on Faith with five small children in toe. Three of which were born during his doctorate. Not only that he accomplished it in less time then it usually takes. My Blood, sweat, and tears went into supporting my husband to get to this moment."
All the same it is done and I'm so proud of my Beloved. So to fulfill my desire to shout it to the world...
WE DID IT!!!!
