Boo Park (castle park)

While Donovan's parents visited us we decided to go see Boo park(castle park to our kids). It has a child size castle with lots of mazes and secret passage ways to roam through. The kids had a blast. It was to bad it was so hot and humid though. We were only able to spend about 45 min. there before everyone was dripping with sweat and ready to leave. Here is a few fun pictures of their adventures. Unfortunately I didn't get many of the older boys because once they went into the castle it was hard to find them.

I couldn't actually get into this spot so I had to take a picture of Enoch through the crack as he walked through.

Trey's face tells the tale of how hot and humid it was. That's all sweat.

Can you see what Elijah see's?
Here is a better look :)

That little medal shrine has a memorial to the Boy the park was built for. He was killed in a car accident when he was 19 and his parents built this park in memory of him.
Here is Enoch coming out of the castle entrance. There is also a huge Dragon to climb on and several other interesting statues and fountains. It is an amazing park. If you live in Southern Illinois and haven't been there, or if you come to visit, it is definitely worth the time to stop and see.
