Mothers Day

So right before mothers day Trey asked me what I wanted. I have to admit that this year I hadn't even thought about it before that point. So I honestly answered "I don't know?" Of course this was a shock to my 7 year old that has his list for Christmas and birthday already done... for the next five years. I truly couldn't think of anything for them to get me... unless of course they could somehow get Donovan a job for Mothers day.
I thought on it for a few days and then one night as I was dosing off after an especially hard day I mumbled to Donovan that it would really be nice if I could have some bright happy flowers for Mothers day. Apparently he listens well even when tired.
The Friday before mothers day I was greeted with a little twenty month old carrying a dozen lilies. Then by a 7 year old with a bouquet of brightly colored flowers. Last was a Husband with 3 dozen roses. Am I pampered or what.
Above is one dozen of the roses arranged with the lilies. Our kitchen table has this beautiful arrangement to greet us for meals.
Here is the bouquet of flowers that Trey gave me. They have been brightening my living room all week.
My personal favorite sits in my room. It's a dozen red roses and a dozen cream roses. They are so beautiful and they keep getting prettier every day.
This is my personal favorite thus far. It has actually bloomed even fuller now since this picture was taken two days ago.
Thank you to all my boys for the lovely flowers to brighten my life. And Thank you to the Love of my life for always being there for me. For picking me up when I fall and making every day worth living. I love you.
